Ministry Objectives

These individuals must set the atmosphere prior to every service and make it conducive for worship. They also protect the vision and visionaries by strategically using prayer and intercession as an offensive weapon against the enemy. God uses the “Fervent and Effectual team to reach into the unseen realms of the spirit and cause them to manifest in the natural through prophetic declarations. The intercessory prayer team must break up the fallow ground in the spirit and be diligent in prayer and fasting for the entire ministry and the covenant partners.

This ministry provides:

Ø  Frequent teachings and training sessions on intercessory prayer.

Ø  Strategic techniques on effective prayer and intercession.

Ø  The roadmap to effectuating change in the lives of those who believe through intercession.

Ø  Spiritual protection from the wiles of the devil being loosed in the ministry.

Ø  The platform and opportunity for the spirit of God’s power to be demonstrated through the power of

Godly agreement.

All ministers who participate in this ministry must be committed to faithful prayer and intercession for others, the vision, and the leaders of the entire C. O. I. M. ministry as a whole. This ministry single-handedly keeps God’s promises for C.O.I.M. loosed in the atmosphere. Each minister must have a clear understanding of each what intercessory prayer and fasting is and why it is important for us to engage in spiritual warfare through prayer and intercession. He/she must be prepared to answer questions at all times concerning intercessory prayer and why it is important for every believer to have a solid prayer life and maintain a consistent fasting regiment.

To serve in this ministry you must complete a training course with Pastor Sims or the person(s) he delegates to facilitate the training. You must also fulfill all the requirements discussed in the training session with Pastor Sims or the designated facilitator.

The ministry participants and leaders:

Ø  Must be saved.

Ø  Must attend an intercessory prayer class.

Ø  Must complete 8-weeks of leadership training.

Ø  Must have a consistent private prayer life.

Ø  Must meet regularly for corporate prayer and be available to lead prayer at any time.

Ø  Must be a covenant partner with C. O. I. M.

Ø  Must be a faithful tither and supporter of the ministry and its beliefs.

Ø  Must be subject to the pastor of C. O. I. M.

Ø  Must be an example to others in word, life, and deed.

Ø  Must be apt to teach and develop others.

Unless previously excused by Pastor Sims, each participant in this ministry is expected to attend and serve during all regularly scheduled services, external preaching and teaching engagements for Pastor and Prophetess Sims, and any major event or special occasion such as weddings, conferences, funerals, retreats, concerts etc.
