Get Ready for the Wedding Unmarried Ministry

 

Ministry Objectives

This ministry is established to encourage the unmarried people within the ministry to continue in holiness and sobriety to God as they walk out their divine calling without their God ordained, spouses in their lives yet. We understand that in this day and time that it can be difficult to live as an 

unmarried person in Christ while living in a secular society. Therefore, we have developed this ministry to give them a place where they can 

fellowship with other unmarried believers and not feel like they are prone to falling into sin. 

This ministry teaches team building skills, the importance of partnership in the things of God, and more importantly that it's not God's will you to be alone. The teachings in the "Get Ready for the Wedding" Unmarried Ministry" are geared to develop every unmarried believer both spiritually and 

intellectually. They are taught about a lot of the pitfalls that come with the ministry of marriage, how to effectively navigate through them together, and ultimately how to succeed in the ministry of marriage.

The ministry leader will be someone who can fulfill the requirements listed below.

• Must be saved.

• Must be a member of C. O. I. M.

• Must be a faithful tither and supporter of the ministry and its beliefs.

• Must be subject to the pastor of C. O. I. M.

• Must be an example to others in word, life, and deed.

• Must be apt to teach and develop others to minister in this field.

• Must have a vision for this ministry.

• Must be available to counsel unmarried people in the ministry concerning all matters.

• Must be extremely well versed in scriptures that address sexual immorality.

• Must be able to prepare and distribute literature concerning the benefits of living a holy life as a Unmarried person for Christ.

 

Prayerfully this ministry will help alleviate a lot of the sexual immorality in the church. It sheds light on an issue that most ministries don’t even 

address, having sex or living together before marriage. This ministry educates believers on the almost unbearable ramifications that come with 

disobedience to God’s word. It explains the difference between sexual (internal) and nonsexual (external) sins and the negative effects both can 

have on every area of your life. Through prayer, fasting, and a strong support group setting the life changing teachings of this ministry will impact 

the lives of Unmarried people all over the world.
