It Takes a Village Unmarried Parents Ministry
Ministry Objectives
This ministry will be similar in purpose as with the “Overcomers” Ministry. However, it is geared more towards helping the unmarried parents raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. The unmarried parent’s ministry encourages the parents to remain dedicated to God while
effectively training up their children in the way God says they should go to the best of their ability.
Not only will this ministry provide assistance with daycare for working unmarried parents who meet low-income requirements, but it also provides emergency aid to those parents who are in need. It creates a safe environment for Unmarried parents to fellowship with one another while providing assistance in education for the enhancement of adults.
This ministry is also established to assist unmarried parents with the purchase or provision of school uniforms, children’s shoes, school supplies,
food, transportation, children’s vitamins, and adult supervised childcare.
