Majesty Girl’s Dance, Drama and Fine Arts Ministry

 

 

Ministry Objectives

This ministry is geared to use girls ages 5-11 to minister the Gospel of Christ to people through the use of prophetic and 

choreographed liturgical dance, monologues, dialogues and plays. It is heavily founded on the Godly principle of accomplishing God's will by working together. The ministry leader will work closely with the Prophetic Worship team to assist in ushering the 

people into the presence of God for every worship experience.  

The purpose for “Majesty” is to reach and minister to those who are not receptive or responsive to other facets of ministry like prophecy, preaching, teaching or praise and worship. It also lends a platform and presents the opportunity for those 

exceptionally talented individuals in the church to utilize their unique gifts in ministry. 

At C. O. I. M. we firmly believe that if we couple God’s grace with the fruit of His spirit; divine creativity flows and manifests 

change in the hearts and minds of His people through dance and dramatic expressions. That is our vision for this ministry.

All ministry leaders or volunteers must:

Must be saved.

• Must be a covenant partner of C. O. I. M.

• Must be a faithful tither and supporter of the ministry and its beliefs.

• Must be patient and enjoy working with young people on a regular basis.

• Must be willing to mentor young people and assist with their development into adulthood.

• Must desire to minister through dance with a passion.

• Must have a vision for adult and youth dance ministry.

• Must know how to choreograph dance routines.

• Must be able to teach female dancers how to flow prophetically while dancing during prophetic worship.

• Must be comfortable creating and teaching dialogues, monologues, skits and plays geared for kids. 

• Must have a vivid imagination that is yielded to leadership of the Holy Spirit.

• Must be subject to the pastor of C. O. I. M.

• Must be an example to others in word, life, and deed.

• Must be apt to teach and develop others to minister in this field.

• Must be skillful and knowledgeable in the dance and drama interpretations.

• Must work closely with parents and other youth workers within the ministry as a whole.

• Must have a phone number that can be published for anyone to contact them as needed regarding youth.

• Must be comfortable taking measurements, designing or shopping for dance uniforms for the team.

• Must be able to raise funds to sponsor all youth events or ministry opportunities involving the dance team.

• Must have reliable transportation or work closely with leader of transportation ministry to ensure all children are picked up prior to rehearsals and taken home safely after all meetings or rehearsals. 

• Must be available to meet/rehearse at least once per week to ensure the team ministers in a spirit of excellence.

We pray that God uses this ministry to play a very vital part in the growth and healthy development of every ministry. They 

express the nature of Christ and the true meaning of the gospel without preaching from a pulpit or singing from a choir stand. God will use this Dance ministry to express the freedom and liberty that comes with living for Christ.
