Marriage is Sacred Marriage Enrichment Ministry

 

 

Ministry Objectives 

“Marriage is Sacred” is a ministry that is geared to support and maintain the sanctity of Marriage. This ministry, given by God to Prophetess Lynne 

Sims, is incorporating spiritual principals that ensure God is the head of each marital relationship. This will be carried out through various exercises, 

events, retreats, and teachings that are designed to promote intimacy and godliness in marriage. 

In the "Marriage is Sacred" Marriage Ministry the "Marriage Mechanics" Pastor Carlos and Prophetess Lynne Sims go to great lengths to teach 

couples how to maintain healthy flourishing marriages. They are also used by God to restore damaged; rocky marriages. Pastor & Prophetess Sims 

invest an enormous amount of time teaching and training individuals prior to marriage so they will be fully equipped to succeed in the ministry of 

marriage. From time to time there will be interim teachers to advise, instruct, or facilitate the developmental meetings.

We deal with real issues in a manner that creates an opportunity for everyone to participate. “Marriage is Sacred” provides family counseling as well as couple's development counseling. Participants are prepared to serve God together in unity, create and maintain true intimacy with God and each other, effectively parent as a team, support each other in pursuing their God inspired dreams, and become a productive part of the ministry 

together. This not only strengthens the ministry, but it also strengthens the community. The inner workings of this ministry are strategically 

designed by God to offer a safe place for healing and restoration in every marriage.

 

 The Ministers and all participants of this ministry:

• Must be saved.

• Must be a covenant partner with C. O. I. M.

• Must be married to a believer.

• Must be a faithful tither and supporter of the ministry and its beliefs.

• Must be subject to the pastor of C. O. I. M.

• Must be an example to others in word, life, and deed.

• Must be apt to teach and develop others to minister in this field.

• Must be available to counsel couples during crisis, pre-marital and post-marital stages.

• Must be able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

• Must operate with meekness and humility when interacting with people.

• Must be an effective listener and a skillful communicator.

• Must be dedicated solely to this ministry. (The only other ministry that they can participate in is evangelism and outreach.)

• Must be able to travel and minister and other cities, states, and countries.

• Must have a heart and passion to see this ministry be as God has intended.
