Wealth of Wisdom Mentorship Ministry
Teens and Young Adults
Ministry Objectives
This ministry is designed to help young men and women get the support that they need from those who are already living a life of
holiness before the Lord. Wealth of Wisdom also assists adults who have gone through the process of deliverance or are ready for total change in every area of their lives.
This ministry fosters healthy relationships with life coaches and partners within C.O.I.M. and individuals in the local community. These
Life Coaches and Mentors train, teach and offer wise counsel to those in need of emotional support, friendship, guidance or direction
with everyday life issues.
Wealth of Wisdom Mentorship Ministry gets its foundation from the book of Titus Ch. 2, where Paul instructs us to train the people in
godly character in all areas of their lives.
The leader of this ministry and all who assist in it:
-
Must be saved.
-
Must be a member of C. O. I. M.
-
Must be patient and enjoy working with young people on a regular basis.
-
Must be willing to mentor young people and assist with their development into adulthood.
-
Must be able to use sound judgment when it comes to making crucial decisions.
-
Must be available to counsel young people and adults concerning crisis, spiritual growth and maturity, the importance of financial
stability and maintaining Godly character in life and relationships.
-
Must be able to foster the relationship between young people and their biological family, their church family, their friends, and their co-workers or fellow students.
-
Must be willing to spend time with their mentees at least one weekend day out of each month.
-
Must be a faithful tither and supporter of the ministry and its beliefs.
-

-
Must be an example to others in word, life, and deed.
-
Must be apt to teach and develop others to minister in this field.
This ministry is geared to motivate and encourage young people to be faithful in their walk with Christ. The teaching primarily
identifies specific issues most young people face today and strategically equips our young people with the tools that are necessary for
them to successfully navigate through life’s detours, dead ends, and wrong turns.
The God given wisdom of those who have endured many trials and learned valuable lessons through trial and error will help prevent
the unnecessary wounds and failures of our young people in the future. The philosophy for this powerful ministry is “If you give a man a fish he will eat for a day but if you teach him how to fish he will eat for a lifetime!”
